It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nathan Foley of Belding, Michigan, born in Greenville, Michigan, who passed away on March 16, 2021, at the age of 18, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Bryan Haney, Bernard Moon (Philomena), Gerrit Van Vels (Linda), Joyce Foley and Thomas Foley; his stepgrandparent Glen Hurst (Grace); and his uncles, Tom Strayer and Larry Strayer.
He is survived by: his parents, Jeanette Foley (Haney) and Mike Foley; his siblings, Andrew and Shantel Underwood; his close friends, Austin Gallant, Alex Levine, Alainna Holnagel, Shakima Robinson and Logan Haney; his grandparents, Ann Haney of Belding, Bev Foley of Grand Rapids and John Foley (Sue) of Wayland; and his aunts and uncles, Juliann Denslow (Brian), Bevin Rowland (Darien), Patrick Haney, Megan Leiter (Eric), Kevin Meyers of Wayland and Aaron Leopold (Karen) of Indiana. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
Although his life ended far too soon, his family and friends take comfort in that his generous spirit will live on through the donation of his organs through the Gift of Life organization, he will help many people with life saving and life changing donations.
