He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaiah Charleston and Eileen Charleston of Kalamazoo, MI.; his sons, Derek Charleston and Aaron Charleston; and his siblings, Charlotte Dunigan, Steven Charleston, Alfred Charleston, Thomas Charleston Sr., Rev. Timothy Troxler and Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by: his wife Carla Charleston of Battle Creek, MI; his children, Nicole De'Mones of Dallas, TX, Joia Charleston of Battle Creek, MI, Diamondnique Charleston of Battle Creek, MI and Michael Charleston of Battle Creek, MI; his siblings, Jeffrey, Bruce Charleston (Beverly), Mary Charleston-Elder and Tracy Charleston-Blakes of Kalamazoo, MI; his aunt Rosalee Springs; his uncle Alfred Charleston of Grand Rapids, MI; and his close friend Laurie Richardson of Battle Creek, MI. He is also survived by children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews and cousins.
