Ty Strong Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ty Strong of Barryton, Michigan, who passed away on May 9, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Oliver Strong; his wife Paulette S. Hart; his daughters, Mariann Goelz of Holland and Sue Koos (Kim) of Remus; his grandchildren, Sarah Strong (Mike Thomas), Mary Koos (John Turner), Charles Strong, Chris Goelz (Hope) and Nicole Buikema (Joey); his great grandchildren, Bo Davis, Merlin Turner-Koos, Landon, Carter, Hailey, Erin, Robbie Buikema, Cheyenne, Blake Goelz, Ty Strong, Shawntaya Gardner and Jaclyn Benavidez; his siblings, Bud Strong (Jeri) of Barryton and Sandra Stevens of Hastings; his stepsister Eloise McNeilly of Pretty Lake; his nephews, Ty, Bud Stevens (Barb), Roger McKenzie (Bonnie) and Matt Maneke (Kelly Lafountain); his friend Bob Wixon; his parents-in-law, Cindy Maneke and Cy Hart; his children, Melissa and Tony Strong; his mother Margaret McNeilly (Edwin); his stepbrothers, Edwin and Jim McNeilly (Betty); and his parents-in-law, Carol Bierchbach (Tom), Scott McKenzie (Gloria) and Lloyd Wolever. He was also cherished by several extended family and friends.

With the rise of Covid in our area; masks, sanitizing and distancing will be followed.

Memorial donations in Ty's name can be given to the Barryton Church of Christ.
