He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Shirley Kelley (Sorensen); his former wife Frances Marie Dow; his wife Cindy; his children, Joseph Ecker (Evi), Amanda Stong of Mt. Pleasant, John "JD" Kelley III (Mandy) of Barryton, Mark Shook of Lapeer and Matthew Thatcher (Carla) of Lapeer; his grandchildren, Clarentio, Anthony, Alexandro, Francisca, Christopher, Heather and Connor; his children, Devin, Kylee, Avery, Calvin and Austin; his siblings, Charles Kelley (Janet) of Lapeer and Tonya Irwin of Mt. Morris; his aunt Joyce Richey (Sorensen) of Jackson; his sister-in-law Cheryl Fellem; his father John Kelley; his brother Greg Kelley; and his brother-in-law Dennis Fellem.
In lieu of flowers, donations in John's honor may be made to Karma Kat Café in Mt. Pleasant or to the Kidney Foundation in memory of his brother-in-law, Dennis.
