He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Hyder and Ruth Hyder (Papke); his siblings, Albert Hyder, Doris Hinton and Helen DeVries; his grandson Brian Martin; his daughter-in-law Patricia Hyder; his former wife Bonnie Hyder; and his brother-in-law Tony Graves.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Hyder of Barryton; his sons, Dean Hyder of Lakeview, Marv Hyder (Karen) of Lowell and Dale Hyder (Bonnie) of Copemish; his stepsons, Bill Dulyea (Colleen) of Rockford and Tim Dulyea of Idlewild; his grandchildren, Kathryn, Kristi, Brock, Ken, Carly, William, April, Tim, Devin and Rose; his sister Mavis Stickler of Belmont; his sisters-in-law, Sharon Navarre of Barryton and Carolyn Graves of Florida; and his niece Denise Place (Clyde). He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the FAMILY to be distributed to the organizations that helped with Don's care; Barryton American Legion, Papa's Place, Hospice, and the VA Hospital in Sandusky.
