She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Chapo and Maxine Chapo (Fisher). She is survived by: her husband James "Jim" Roote of Barryton; her daughter Candace "Candy" Vitale; and her grandsons, Rusty, Nathaniel and Dre Nunley.
