It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Stickels of Bangor, Michigan, born in Battle Creek, Michigan, who passed away on February 23, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Stickels and Diana Stickels of Bangor, Michigan.; his wife Jayne; and his daughter Lacy Miller. He is survived by: his sisters, Becky Burford and Laura Elms (Darrel); his nieces and nephews, Denise White (Tom), Loren Elms (Leah), Joseph Elms (Katie), Bethany Kirkman (Roger), Jodi Offringa (Chris), Leslie Colford (Jimmy) and Karen Griffin; and his stepsons, Erick (Courtney) and Jonathan Waechter (Shanda).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bangor Chapel (258 W Monroe St, Bangor, MI 49013). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
The family wishes to recognize and thank the staff at River Ridge Retirement Village in South Haven for the loving care and concern they showed our brother and suggest any donations be made to River Ridge.
