He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Doty and Georgia Doty (Wilson); and his brother Ronald Doty. He is survived by: his wife Merrilee Duford; his children, Jolie King (Kevin), Jennifer Hallman (Dan), Stefanie Wilson (Mark) and Garrett Doty (Jami); his grandchildren, Zachary Simmons, Kaely Hopkins (Colin), Jake King, Ryan Hallman, Bethany Wilson, Remmi King, Allyson Simmons, Adam Doty, Jacie King, Justin Doty, Lexie King, Andrew Wilson and Emilee Doty; his great grandchild Liam Hopkins; his sister Sharon McPherson (Tom); his siblings-in-law, Norman Duford (Peggy), Dennis Duford (Susan), Renee Palmer, Brenda Wood (Mike) and Gail Carten (Michael); his niece Nicole Sasanuma (Tod); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Rachael and Emi.
