She was predeceased by: her parents, Georgia Creger and John Burke; her stepfather Al Creger; and her brother Tom Burke. She is survived by: her daughter Shannon; her husband Jim Knowlton of Atlanta Michigan; her son-in-law Joseph Giles of Alpena, MI; her sister-in-law Pamela Burke of Port St; her nieces and nephews, Jeremy, Terri Burke of Clarkston, MI, Justin Cumper, Felicia Cumper of Hawks, MI, Shayn Cumper and Kayla Cumper of Atlanta, MI.; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Emmit, Easton Cumper of Atlanta, MI, Emily Burke of Clarkston, MI and Amelia; and her pet Norman Bates Giles.
Cheryl was supposed to receive her daughter's kidney but that never came to be due to COVID-19 and her ill health at the end.
