She was predeceased by: her parents, George Smith and Margaret Smith (Van Douser); her husband Mahlon Nichols (Nick); and her sister Georgia Joan Butler (Smith). She is survived by: her children, Jim Nichols (Ronda), Kathy Kinkema (John), Michael Nichols (Michelle), Joanna Shields (Mike) and Scott Nichols (Candi). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
