She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Strayer (Mary) and Norma Strayer (Coffman); her siblings, Darrell Strayer, John Strayer and Colleen Mallory; and her stepbrother Fordson Essex.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Ray (Brad Baublitz), Michael Ray (Heather Irwin) and Brian Ray; her grandchildren, Blaire, Jason, Kayn (Kaylee), Shree (Joel) and Kaitlyn; her great grandchildren, Everett, Emerson and Eiden; her stepsiblings, Kenneth Essex (Lou), Jewel Roller (Ray) and Lucretia "Cricket" Hamilton (Dale); and her close friend Carol Devers.
