He was predeceased by: his parents, John Louis and Elsie Diller (Sexton); his wife DeEtta (Whitt); his son Joseph Rice; and his grandson Sean O'Brien.
He is survived by: his children, Patricia Millhouse of Allen, Ruby K. Hall, Cindy J. Nowak (Jeffrey) of Reading, Monica Baik (Brian), John Diller Jr. (Beth) of Allen, Ronald Diller of Allen, Tony Diller of Allen and Charles Diller (Rosanne) of Hillsdale; and his sister Nancy Baird of Glennie, MI. He is also survived by 30 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren.
