He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Hubert Jackson Wilson and Hattie Mae McElrath Wilson; and his brother Franklin Wilburn Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Elsie Bernice Miller Wilson; his sons, Daniel Stuart Wilson (Julie) and Thomas Brent Wilson (Theresa); his granddaughters, Danielle Wilson Norris, Julianne Wilson Hardin and Stephanie Louise Wilson; his great grandchildren, Graham Norris, Emma Louise Hardin, Sabina Norris and Haskew Hardin; and his sister Ella Mae Hardin. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Long's Chapel.
