She was predeceased by: her husband Rev. Gordon F. Blakeslee; and her son Rev. William Blakeslee. She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Wells (Howard) and Diane Rockwell (Francis); her daughter-in-law Phyllis Blakeslee; her siblings, Albert Barrett and Laura Orsborn (Ray); and her sisters-in-law, Glenna Hula and Lorena Gregory (Stan). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Wings Home 330 Linn St. Allegan, MI 49010 where Virginia spent her last days.
