He was predeceased by: his parents, Maryan Koprowski and Stephania Koprowski; his wife Nella Hartman; and his sisters, Evelyn Kukawski and Ruth Atkinson.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Koprowski (Dianne), Nancy VanLeuwen (Scott), Diane Berryhill (Gary) and Janet Butkiewicz. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
