She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Zimmerman and Rhea Zimmerman (Hackett); her husband Bill Whitcomb; and her siblings, Nelson Zimmerman and Muriel Zimmerman (Alexander).
She is survived by: her son Steve Whitcomb; and her brother Herman (Janis Zimmerman). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
