He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Gowens and Mary Green (Gowens); his close friend Marlene Reid; and his brother Shad. He is survived by: his sons, Frankie Jackson and Nathan Snyder; his siblings, Duke Gowens, Angel, Terry Gowens (Marian), Mark Gowens, Yvonne Gowens (Bennie), Yvette O'Bryant (Earl), Melissa Gowens (Dennis) and Sari Gowens; and his stepchildren, Letha Reid, Ricky, David Reid and Charlie Reid. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
Due to covid, a memorial will be scheduled at a later and safer date.
