She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest Rantz and Francis Rantz (Allen); her husband Fred Katje; her son Theron; her great grandchild Levi; her daughter-in-law Sue Martin; and her siblings, Sandra and George.
She is survived by: her children, Kim Kanet, Jeff Martin, Dawn Katje and Kate Katje; her grandchildren, Brooke Bakhuyzen (Matt), Colleen Broadhurst, Chad Martin (Samantha) and A. J. Foote; and her sister Karen Keckler. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
