She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Pierce and Susie Pierce of Otsego; her husband John F. Hettinger; her sons, Kevin Blakeman and John Michael Hettinger; her brother Bill; and her sister-in-law Shirley Pierce.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy (Clawson), Cindy Forrest (Rob) of Gobles, Steve Hettinger (Karen) of South Carolina and Roger Hettinger (Kim) of Jackson; and her nieces, Kim Pierce, Debby Nutter and Denise Dedrich. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
