She was predeceased by: her granddaughter Beth Berens; her siblings, Doris Schipper, Ron Kalmink and Austin Kalmink; and her parents-in-law, Bob Berens, Bernie Capel, Mary Lou Kalmink and Leona Kalmink.
She is survived by: her husband Eugene Berens; her children, Dale Berens (Linda) of Allegan, Loren Berens (Diane) of Dorr, Karen Kreuze (Jerry) of Holland and Jane Beller of Allegan; her sister Bernice Ekema of Zeeland; and her parents-in-law, Evelyn Capel of Zeeland, Keith Berens (Sindy) of Holland and Harwyn Berens (Harlyth) of Holland. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
