He was predeceased by: his parents, Loren Elder and Julia Elder (Psiuk); his daughter Lisa; and his brother Louis Elder. He is survived by: his wife Mary E. Spicher; his sons, Russell Elder of Adrian and Thomas Elder (Nicole) of Casper; his grandchildren, Illeana, Luceil, Macallen, Jessica and Brittany; and his siblings, Paul Elder (Dorothy) of Annapolis and Louise Mann of North Carolina. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
