He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell I. Lockhart and Winifred Lockhart (Sherman); his wife Elizabeth J. "Betty" Johnson; his brother John Lockhart; and his granddaughter Deborah Joy Lockhart.
He is survived by: his children, Russell Lockhart (Karen) of Colorado Springs, CO, Douglas Lockhart (Angie) of Caledonia, MI and Eric Lockhart of Clayton, MI; and his brother Lawrence Lockhart (Mary Lou) of West Branch, MI. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, four nephews, five nieces and numerous cousins.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Care Pregnancy Center of Lenawee at 308 N. Broad Street in Adrian, MI, 49221 or to the Cement City Baptist Church or to Hospice of Lenawee.
