He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Thomas Karst and Lilah Eileen Karst (Cook); his brothers, Gregory, Timothy, Donald and Randy Karst; his nephews, Jeremy and Donald Karst Jr.; and his pet Zoe.
He is survived by: his wife Debra Lee Youngquist of Ada, MI; his siblings, Vincent Karst (Suzy) of Holland, MI, Steven Karst (Leah) of Auburn, IN, Donna Karst of Ft Wayne, IN, Carol Karst (Mark Cocklin) and Debra Eckert of Huntington, IN.; and his sister-in-law Carla Clark (Scott) of Winston-Salem, NC..
