He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Irving L. Getchell and Elizabeth Straight; his wife Margarete B. Schmidt; his brother Reggie; his pet Callen; his daughters, Patricia Getchell (Brett Gullifer) of Scarborough, Suzie Shonio (Chris) of Morrisville, VT and Michelle Getchell of West Gardiner; his grandchildren, Erica Webber (Tim Lowe) of South Gardiner, Jason Marshall of Fairfax, VT, Krystal Marshall of Montpelier, VT, Patrick Heald of West Gardiner and Vanessa Heald (Alex); his children, Augusta and Nicole Heald (Walter Bailey) of West Gardiner; his great grandchildren, Kamryn Baker, Emily Lowe and Quinn Baker; and his sister Donna Getchell. He was also cherished by His children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
