She was predeceased by: her husband Bernard I. Newell; her parents, Vaughan Davis and Laura Davis (Corson); and her siblings, Hilda Jalbert and Robert Davis.
She is survived by: her children, Bernard V. Newell (Arlene) of New Portland and Susan Cavacas (Christopher) of Castleton, Vermont; her granddaughters, Shelby Newell of New Portland and Melissa Green (Mickey); her great grandchild Sophie Mae of West Paris; her sisters, Louise Hagerstrom of Strong and Leonora "Dawn" Strickland of Waterville; her cousins, Wardy Atwood (Kenneth) of New Portland and Joan Corson of Maine; and also, Meagan Barrett (Brendan), Brynn and Callan of Greeley, Colorado. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
