With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Everett James of South Portland, Maine, who passed away on July 13, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra Green; his parents, George and Dorothy; and his brothers, Donald and Robert.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kym Devine and Sharri James; his grandchildren, Jay Devine (Nichole), Brandye Devine (Wes Gaines), Karri (Kevin Belling), Dewey Whitten and Brent Whitten; and his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Arlo, Maple, Emery and Sam.
It was Bill's wish that in lieu of flowers any charitable contributions be made to the A (http://www.hobbsfuneralhome.com) nimal Refuge League of Greater Portland.
