She was predeceased by: her parent William McAvoy; her husband Philip Mac Vane; and her brothers, William McAvoy and Philip McAvoy. She is survived by: her parent Sarah McAvoy (Kiley); and her sons, Michael Mac Vane (Raymond) of St. Steven and Gerard "Jerry" Mac Vane (Alice) of Leeds. She is also survived by four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
