He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Mason and Florence Hanscom Mason; his wife Edith; his son Scott Mason; and his grandson David Mason.
He is survived by: his siblings, Elwood, Grace and Virgil; his daughter Meredith Koerner (William); his daughter-in-law Charlene Donahue; his children, Lori McCarty (Tim), Wendy Carter (Tom), Richard Mason (Marie) and Joellen Carroll (Bruce); his grandchildren, Amanda Koerner-Oakes (Ernie), Daniel Koerner (Heather), Brian Mason, Meghan Grassi (Vincent) and Amy Holland (Doug); and his great grandchildren, Lucia, Augustine, Bosco Grassi, Ronan, Callum Koerner and Ivis Stephens.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the American Kidney Fund and Cressey Road Church.
