With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marie S. Gerity (South Portland, Maine), born in Pottsville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 21, 2023 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter J. Lecher and Sara E. Lecher; her husband John; her son Michael; her grandson Jonathan Knights; and her brother Walter "Jack" Lecher Jr..
She is survived by: her aunt Peggy Elliott; her daughter Linda Knights (Nick) of South Portland; and her granddaughter Pam Martin (Mike) of Scarborough. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and 10 great- grandchildren that all worshipped their Nan.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Marie's memory to St Jude's Childrens' Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
