With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leon M. Johnson of South Portland, Maine, born in Portland, Maine, who passed away on August 29, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Johnson and Marjorie Johnson (Knox); his wife Phyllis Mercer; his son Lance; and his brother Walter F. Johnson (late Corinne Johnson).
He is survived by: his siblings, Ellen Belanger (late Robert L. Belanger), Annie Wiemert (late John H. Wiemert), Paula Harnden (late Earl Harnden) and William H. Johnson (Christine Johnson). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
