Janet H. Nolan Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet H. Nolan of South Portland, Maine, born in Auburn, Maine, who passed away on March 29, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Trueman Higgins and Ruth Louise Higgins (Ford); her husband John Philip Nolan Sr. (Bud); and her siblings, Pamela and Jerry.
She is survived by: her family Janet; her children, Lisa Boudreau (André) of Block Island, RI, Lorie Dorrance (Scott) of Cape Elizabeth, ME, John Nolan, Jr. (Jennifer) of Falmouth, ME and Brent Nolan of Keene, N. H.; her grandsons, Hunter, Connor, Nolan, Weston, Miles, Jared, Andre, Jacques and Erik; and her great grandchild Poppy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Janet and Bud were avid supporters of the University of Maine Foundation and members of the Stillwater Society.
