It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James William Mattison (South Portland, Maine), who passed away on September 22, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Parke and Grace Mattison; his sister Patricia Greene; and his son Robert Mattison. He is survived by: his wife Linda Norris; his children, Timothy Mattison (Lalaine), Cindy Kelly (Albert) and Coleen Greene (Patrick); his daughter-in-law Teresa Norton Mattison; and his stepchildren, Joseph Charlton and Pamela Bonnvie (James). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Shortly after Fathers Day 2023, he came down with Covid, which required hospital care.
