She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James Downs and Marie Downs (Thunberg); her husband William J. Griffin, Sr.; her son William J. Griffin, Jr.; her son-in-law Richard "Dickie" Nee; her grandsons, Seamus and Coleman Nee; her brother Thomas Downs; her children, Colleen Salvo (Gerard) of Portland, Kathryn Nee of Scarborough, James Laughlin Griffin of South Portland and Coleman Griffin (Renee) of South Portland; her grandchildren, Kerry, Daniel, Ryan, Billy, Patrick, Bridie, Mary, Annie, Liam and Alice; her great grandchildren, Finnegan, Grace, Seamus and Fiona; and her siblings, Margaret Malpass of Scarborough, Doris Valente (Tom) of Westbrook, Marie Brazil, Carl Thunberg and Geraldine Merrill (John) of Portland. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
