He was predeceased by: his parents, Graham Gleysteen and Orletha Gleysteen; his stepmother Mary; and his siblings, Emily and John.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Linda Kelly of Pittsburgh; his children, Ann Smith (Michael) of Asheville, NC, Dirk (Diana) of Milford, DE and Eric (Betsy) of Scarborough, ME.; his grandchildren, Paul, Lucie, Sam, Kelly, Tara, John and Angela; and his great grandchild Mark.

donations would be welcomed for Veterans Count, An Easter Seals of Maine Program, or for the Travis Mills Foundation Veterans Retreat.
