It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel McGonagle of South Portland, Maine, born in Portland, Maine, who passed away on June 17, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel J. Jr. McGonagle and Dorothy McGonagle (Fowler); his wife Peggy McGonagle (Margaret Rafuse); and his brothers, Frederick and John McGonagle.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kathleen (Brian Carmichael) of Hermon, Carol McGonagle of South Portland and Karen (Ronnie White) of Raymond; his brother William (Janet McGonagle) of South Portland; his sister-in-law Penny McGonagle of Yarmouth; his grandchildren, Joe (Diana Carmichael), Kelsey Carmichael, Jen (Steve Alward) of South Portland, Dan (Hannah Richards) of Cumberland, Ryan (Rachel White) and Shawn (Nicole White) of Westbrook; his great grandchildren, Emma, Ellie, John, Evie, Luke, Dylan, Mia, Lucy, Rylee, Ryder, Vivian and Adela; and his pet Baylee. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
