She is survived by: her son Joseph (Linda Thierauf); her granddaughters, Ella and Nora of Arlington, VA; her sister-in-law Margaret Thornton (Mim) of South Portland; her siblings, Thomas J. Thornton, Jr. of South Portland and Jane; and her brother-in-law Al Giardi (Butch) of Salem, MA. She is also survived by five grand-nephews and two grand-nieces; and cousins.
