Rachel Marie Collins Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 23, 2022, at the age of 94, Rachel Marie Collins of Scarborough, Maine, born in Biddeford, Maine passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Christine Breton; her husband Richard; her son Richard Collins, Jr. (Dickie); her sister Theresa Hebert; her children, Conrad, Ronald, Claudette, Diane, Rachel and Ricky; her former spouse Jacqueline (Jackie); her children, Kathy, Kelly, Kristin and Kevin; and her great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Kelsey, Jackson, Kaitlin, Evan, Andrew, Samantha, Delaney and Ryan. She was also cherished by her grandparents, her aunt and uncle and her cousins.

When the pandemic started, they were no longer able to meet as a group, so she started making hats and blankets to donate to various charities. She also started journaling and wrote family histories of the Collins and Hebert families during the pandemic to keep herself occupied.
