She was predeceased by: her parents, William Erlandson and Mable Erlandson (Whittemore); her husband Ralph Higgins; her siblings, Elmer Erlandson and Eileen Coffin; and her grandson Scott Higgins.

She is survived by: her children, Shelley Morin (Greg), Daniel Higgins (Greer) and William Higgins (Nancy). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and also was a great great grandmother.
