He is survived by: his wife Joann Wellwood; his sons, John Wellwood (Crystal) and Thomas Wellwood (Jennifer); his stepdaughter Brenda Courchene (Michael, Sr); and his grandchildren, John Wellwood Jr., Lee Wellwood, Desiree Lambert, Wayne Wellwood (Shelby), Brie Wellwood, Matt Wellwood (Brittany), Chris Wellwood, Averick Wellwood, Spring Tata (Bill), Amy Litchfield, Stafford Bridges, Danielle Courchene, Tyler Courchene, Corey Courchene, Jacob Nickerson and Michael Courchene Jr. (Noel). He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
