He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald W. and Thena Sullivan Gilbert; and his sister Catherine Bacon (Otis). He is survived by: his sisters, Beverly Baird Cauley of Ocala, Natalie Vogler of Ocala and Sherry Gilbert of Oakland. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
