He was loved and cherished by many people including: his siblings, David Grant and Carol Howatt; his parents, Lucille Grant (Campbell) and George Grant; his stepsons, William "Billy" and James Black; his nieces, Kimberly Grant and Jennifer Mae Howatt; his wife Lucille Lewis Grant; his sons, George Robert Grant III (Darlene Hopkins Grant), Josh David Grant (Katie Grant) and Torrey Michael Grant of Syracuse; his grandchildren, Alex David Grant, Andrew George Grant, Peyton Elizabeth Grant, Hayden Black, Brittney Springmann (Chris Savageau) and Boston Black; his great grandchildren, Mason and Myka Savageau; and his niece Wendy Grant.
