With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Galen Strout (Monmouth, Maine), born in Lewiston, Maine, who passed away on March 13, 2020 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Strout and Jean Strout (Taylor); his children, Peter and Charlene; his sisters, Lois Thompson and Marilyn Cantin; and his nephew Roy Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Fannie Strout of Wales; his children, Sallie Hutchinson (Will) of Hebron, Glenda Kelsey of Florida, Janet Thomas (Alan) of Wales and Gordon Strout (Deborah) of Sabattus; his grandchildren, Desiree Strickling, Charlene Simental, Chris (Jon Tremblay), Michael (Melissa Thomas) and Matthew (Angela Strout); his brother-in-law John Green (Sharon) of Sabattus; and his niece Janice Michaud. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
