It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rae Ann Oakes (Machias, Maine), who passed away on May 7, 2018, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Ramsey and Ethel Ramsey; her siblings, Rick Ramsey and Donna Mae Ramsey; and her brothers-in-law, Jim Heckman and Dave Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Peter of East Machias; her children, Travis (Jamie Moores) of Marshfield and Tina Mason (Dickie Huntley) of Machiasport; her sisters, Ethel Heckman of Vasselboro and Lu Smith of Waterville; her grandchildren, Katrina, Chelsea, Mikayla, Ava, Cole, Ethan, Brady, Zachary, Alexia and Abby; and her great grandchild Brooklyn.
