It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Burns (Machias, Maine), born in Norwood, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 15, 2020, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Burns and Mary Burns (Riley); and his sister Deirdre Meloski. He is survived by: his friend Bill W.; his wife Kathleen Burns (Rossman); his stepchildren, David Chauvin, Jane Crowley of Webster, MA, Amy, Paul Dufresne of Dudley, MA, Peggy Sansevero and Jim Gonsalves; his grandchildren, Victoria, Elizabeth, Dylan and Ryan; his sisters, Shelia Magliaro (Allen) of Milford, MA, Patricia Hernandez of MIlford and Eileen Burns of Boston, MA; and his siblings-in-law, Pete Meloski of Medway, MA, Stephanie Cary of Greenville and Barbara Krajcik (Larry) of Oxford, MA.

Due to Covid19 restrictions a private mass was held at the Sacred Heart Church in Lubec, with burial in Greenfield Cemetery, Lubec.
