She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Leighton and Blanch Leighton (Mahar); her former husband Arthur Kingsley Rice; her husband Jack Brown; her daughter Sally Perry; her siblings, Sybil Libby Bresette, Kay Greene, Carleton, Lewis, Erlin and Huey Leighton; and her granddaughter Tina Rice Browne.
She is survived by: her children, Jane Lever of Orono, David K Rice Old Orchard, Jerry A Rice (Christine) of Bangor, Alan G Rice of South Berwick and Dwayne S Rice (Sandy) of South Berwick; her son-in-law Clyde Perry of Phoenix; her stepson Rickey Brown (Susan) of Edmunds; her grandchildren, Angela, Lori, Christopher, Suzanne, Teri, Tim, Nichole, Ashley and DJ; and her stepgranddaughters, Heidi and Heather. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers it is requested that a donation be made to the church.
