With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Harnedy (Machias, Maine), born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 9, 2020 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James G. Harnedy and Helen Flanagan Harnedy; and his wife Jane Diggins Harnedy. He is survived by: his daughters, Susan J. Blackwell (Robert J. Barbagallo) of Albuquerque and Sandra L. Carr (James J. Carr) of Summerville; and his grandchildren, Michael R. Blackwell (Jessica Dubois Blackwell) of Ashburnham, Jennifer S. Maguire of Southport and Joseph J. Carr. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
