He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Orrin Gay and Geraldine Gay (Strout); his daughters, Janet Lea Dowling (Gary) of East Machias, Rebecca Brewer (Brian Seltzer) of Gales Ferry, CT. and Lois Stenger (Rob) of Enfield, NH.; his grandchildren, Nicole, Corin Dowling, Jordan Brewer (Justin Caras), Wesley and Tucker Stenger; his great grandchild Cora; his wife Barbara Gay; his son Robert "Bobby" Gay; and his siblings, Virginia Grant, Carroll and Lawrence Gay. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
