He is survived by: his wife Sandra (Elliott); his daughter Marnie Kaler of Machias; his grandson Katahdin Staples; and his siblings, Donna Roush, Holly Dawson of Phippsburg, ME, Bruce and Brian Barter of Boothbay. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
