She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Talpey and Helen Talpey; and her brother William Talpey. She is survived by: her husband James F. Smith; her sons, James R. of Presque Isle, Donald of Kennebunk, Stephen of South Berwick and Francis (Rene) of Rochester; her grandsons, Marcus, Matthew and James; and her nephews, Michael and Richard.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Kennebunk Veterinary Hospital, 149 Fletcher St, Kennebunk, Maine 04043.
