He was predeceased by: his children, Lana Williams, Kevin Sutherburg and Dean Sutherburg; and his siblings, Russell H., John F. Jr., Walfred F., Bruce M., Roderick, Byron W., Frieda Buckley, Lucretia Hassan, Laurine Grover and Geraldine Hassan.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Adams Sutherburg; his children, Tommy Sweetzer, Walfred Sutherburg (Laura), Lyman Sutherburg, Lee Sutherburg, Kurt Sutherburg, Wife, Michelle, Sandra Wallace, Karen Deuso and Dawn Amey; and his siblings, Terrance (Dianne Sutherburg) and Roberta Humason.
